  • Do you provide customer support?

    We can help you with any issues or questions related to our website or your purchases on this site. But we can not help with problems regarding Microsoft Flight Simulator or installation issues. Please note that X-Plane.to serves just as a platform. Our community-driven helpdesk provides you relevant guides, tutorials and troubleshooting steps with which you can try to solve issues yourself. If you are not able to solve a problem, please ask for individual help on our Discord server or on Flight Simulator Forums, where other community users may help you. If you have a problem with a specific scenery or livery, please contact the respective author via Private Messaging, as we can not provide individual mod support. We're just hosting it.


  • Are you affiliated with Laminar Research or X-Plane 12?

    No, this is a community-driven project. We are neither affiliated with Laminar Research, nor with X-Plane 12 in any way.


  • Is X-Plane.to safe and free?

    Yes. X-Plane.to is free to use and free of charge. On top of this, our team is regularly checking all uploaded files for potential security threats. X-Plane.to is your free and safe source for Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons. We have recently started to offer Premium add-ons. These are chargeable, but it is up to you whether you decide to purchase. Our website is still based on 98% freeware. However, freeware creators are happy to receive voluntary donations for their work!


  • How and what can I upload?

    You can upload any extension, add-on or mod that you created for Microsoft Flight Simulator. To do so, navigate to the top right menu, click on » My Uploads « and choose » New Upload «. You can upload only ZIP, RAR or 7ZIP archives, which are not allowed to exceed the maximum file size of 2 GB. However, you can attach up to 6 files per item, but max. 4 GB in total.


  • Why is my file pending or declined?

    Pending Approval: This status is for newly uploaded files. New users uploading files for the first time on our website must have their files manually verified by our team before they are listed. Usually this takes less than 1 hour, but can take up to 6 hours outside of business hours. We ask for your patience.

    Declined: Your file will be rejected if it violates our rules or terms of use. You will also always be given a reason, which you will see when you click on "Modify file". You can re-apply your file for review by clicking "Re-Apply". The most common reasons for rejection are: Virus found, not good enough screenshots, no English language description, stolen content from other authors or insufficient quality.


  • How often do you update the Scenery Map?

    Our Scenery Map needs to be updated by hand, by our team. Once you released your scenery on our website, it can take up to one week for it to be added to the Scenery Map. Don't worry - you don't need to do anything beyond upload your file, we'll take care of the rest. Make sure to provide GPS coordinates in the respective form field when uploading files, to speed up the progress.


  • Why am I IP Blocked?

    Disable your VPN or proxy service and make sure you are using your residential network to download files. Click here for more details.
